Glasgow's MSPs and MPs

I have been in touch with all of Glasgow's MSPs and MPs on a regular basis in recent months during which time I've shared lots of information from the blog site about the fight for equal pay and developments in the Court of Session.

Strangely, I've received very little by the way of feedback - virtually no questions, Retweets of post from my blog, favourable comments or even a brief message of support.

As everyone knows our MSPs and MPs all support the principle of equal pay for work of equal value, but what are they doing and/or saying to support people who are still fighting for their rights to be upheld, especially their local constituents in Glasgow City Council.

I follow all of the Glasgow MSPs and MPs on Twitter - here's a post from Stewart MaDonald the MP for Glasgow South, which I responded to by pointing out that the fight for equal pay in Glasgow is the biggest financial and employment issue facing the City Council in its entire history.

Employment law and employment rights are reserved to the Westminster Parliament, of course, so there is every reason for MPs to be speaking up and making their views clear.
