Well well, we have 10000 women pursuing a claim and has done nothing. One celebrity (very bravely) writes a letter and they're all over it.

As Stefan points out the fight for equal pay in Glasgow has been raging for years, but is the EHRC involved?

Are they heck.

 But one high profile case emerges at the BBC and the Commission is all over the story like a bad rash.

 The EHRC is a joke if you ask me and although they did conduct an investigation into Glasgow's pay arrangements at one stage (many years ago) the Commission never published the results.

 Which was a fat lot of good to the thousands of low paid women workers who were fighting for  their basic employment rights.

SNP - Conspiracy of Silence

So here's the issue - two Glasgow MSPs (Nicola Sturgeon and Humza Yousaf) have been asked a reasonable question about their use of public money to employ two SNP councillors who already have full-time, salaried jobs as senior elected members of Glasgow City Council.   But these two public servants (both long-serving ministers) refuse to answer, so what to do next? One regular reader suggests raising the matter on the floor of the Scottish Parliament which is a good idea, but requires an MSP who's prepared to put down a written question for Scottish Ministers to answer.
