Miliband for Leader!



The Independent reports on a ComRes opinion poll which shows not only that a Labour Party led by Jeremy Corbyn is even less likely to win the 2020 general election.

 But also that the party's most popular potential leader would be David Miliband who knocks all the other candidates into a cocked hat.

 Regular readers will recall that although David Milband won the support of the great majority of individual Labour Party members, he had the crown snatched from his head by younger brother Ed with the help of the Bubs (Britain's union bosses).

 Now as far as I recall Tom Watson and Jeremy Corbyn were both active supporters of Ed Miliband in the 2010 leadership contest which simply adds irony to the affair and the terrible mess that labour finds itself in today.

SNP - Conspiracy of Silence

So here's the issue - two Glasgow MSPs (Nicola Sturgeon and Humza Yousaf) have been asked a reasonable question about their use of public money to employ two SNP councillors who already have full-time, salaried jobs as senior elected members of Glasgow City Council.   But these two public servants (both long-serving ministers) refuse to answer, so what to do next? One regular reader suggests raising the matter on the floor of the Scottish Parliament which is a good idea, but requires an MSP who's prepared to put down a written question for Scottish Ministers to answer.
