Stuck in First
I haven't hear a thing from the Labour Party about the Westminster general election which is to be held on 7 May, but I do receive regular emails from the Conservatives, for some reason, which tell me all about their plans on tax and benefits to eliminating the UK's deficit.
I have also been contacted by the SNP by leaflet drop and by telephone, and I suspect the SNP's impressive campaign machine will kick into overdrive as we get closer to polling day.
Yet Scottish Labour seems still to be stuck in first gear which I find surprising given its lacklustre performance of late and the pressing need for Labour to reinvent itself north of the border.
