Teach Your Children
The post on Tony Blair's efforts to combat Islamic extremism through education, respect and tolerance reminded me of an old song by Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young - 'Teach Your Children'.
Now this is a gentle, uplifting little number but, even so, would be outlawed in places where religion is used as an extreme form of social control over people's lives, especially the younger generation.
So I take my hat off to the 1960s and the young people of that era who fought and campaigned to make the world a happier, more enlightened place - because music has the power to move people's hearts and minds.
Which is no doubt what these ghastly old men in beards are worried about.
