Sunday/Monday

I'm off on my travels on Monday morning - and will be stuck on a train at the time I normally write the blog.

So I've written up the following posts for Monday - but when they appear - they will show up as being published on Sunday.

Because of the time differences between Scotland and America - where the Blogger server is based.

Which explains why the posts appear at strange hours of the morning - sometimes - when I am tucked up safely in bed - as all sensible people should be of course.

Normal service will resume on Tuesday again - all being well.

SNP - Conspiracy of Silence

So here's the issue - two Glasgow MSPs (Nicola Sturgeon and Humza Yousaf) have been asked a reasonable question about their use of public money to employ two SNP councillors who already have full-time, salaried jobs as senior elected members of Glasgow City Council.   But these two public servants (both long-serving ministers) refuse to answer, so what to do next? One regular reader suggests raising the matter on the floor of the Scottish Parliament which is a good idea, but requires an MSP who's prepared to put down a written question for Scottish Ministers to answer.
