Quote of the Week
Not everyone was impressed by Ed Miliband's speech to the Labour party conference - earlier this week.
One Labour MP - asked an impertinent, but rather important question after Ed had left the hall:
“How the hell can he (Ed) take on vested interests in banks and business if he can’t even take on – if he capitulates to – the vested interests in the party, the unions? Ridiculous.”
Quite so.
The dog that didn't bark in Liverpool was the great 're-founding' of Labour - the leader's pet project.
Much hyped before the conference but quietly abandoned - because Britain's union bosses (the Bubs) wouldn't play ball.
